Bio

Alex Hockman joined Lowther Johnson as an Associate in 2024 after clerking with the firm during law school. As an attorney, Alex handles a wide range of general practice areas including personal injury, real estate and property law, business law, tax law, landlord-tenant matters, and creditor’s rights.

Alex attended the University of Missouri School of Law, where he was named to the Dean’s List for his academic excellence. During law school, Alex worked with the Mizzou Veterans Clinic, assisting veterans with their disability claims. Additionally, he served as a Dean’s Fellow, providing academic support and tutoring fellow law students. Prior to law school, Alex earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Missouri State University, where he also met his wife. With deep ties to southwest Missouri and many fond memories of the area, Alex is proud to launch his legal career in the Ozarks and is committed to serving the community he now calls home.

Outside of practicing law, Alex enjoys hunting, fishing at Table Rock Lake, reading, and playing guitar. Most of all, he cherishes spending time with his wife and young daughter.
